A friend once said that luck is not no school. In other words, good fortune has been determined and no relation to the school, despite the best to learn something even in the best place. Same meaning mastery of certain skills, which can improve the quality of life, can not determine a person's success.
This kind of opinion will lead us to the belief that it is better to wait for good fortune because it is not necessarily good fortune will come, though we have earned by toiling in the best way to learn, learn the best science and the best schools as well. More dangerous this opinion will lead to God to judge of favoritism or unfair because it does not provide equally good fortune to us.
Against this argument is enough to question, "Then what's the point of strategy, the determination, perseverance, hard work and patience are we doing? The answer is obvious is not it? Strategy and the overall effort of course is useless because that is able to distinguish between someone who is successful and which not.
A proverb I once heard from a man who I admire Dr. H. Bambang Marsono, M Sc, MBA, "We're not going to be okay if you do not do anything." He said, someone defined by his efforts. Someone will only achieve something it has earned.
Success is not something to be instant. To reach it takes time and hard work (switch on, rather than switch off). As in the case turned on a lamp in the room, when someone wanted a room from dark to light conditions, then he should immediately seek to switched socket (switch on). Well, that's a real effort to turn the energy needs of the wanted room light. However, to make a room look dark, quiet enough to not do anything, would not need to bother looking for socket and turn it on (switch off).
In this case, the incident light (switch on) analogue with a desire for someone to successfully change the conditions that are not expected to be under appropriate conditions with expectations. Conversely, the event did not turn on the lights (switch off) is an analogy of someone who does not want any success in order to successfully accomplish.
